Legal Aspects of Transboundary Aquifers

The workshop was related to to the low on transboundary, being prepared by the UN International Law Commission (ILC). IGRAC has been involved in the development of Draft Articles of this law. In the workshop, IGRAC representative gave the opening talk on hydrogological characteristics of transboundary aquifers. Together with UNESCO, IGRAC prepared the workshop report (more info via ISARM site/initiative/legal aspects).
