IGRAC activities at the IAH congress in Lisbon
October 4, 2007: International association of Hydrogeologists held its XXXV congress from 17 to 21 September 2007 in Lisbon, Portugal. The conges was dedicated to interaction of groundwater and ecology.
IGRAC presented a paper and a poster on Global Monitoring of Groundwater Resources. We also took an active role in a preparatory meeting for the 5th World Water Forum (Istanbul - March 2009). Finally, very constructive meetings were held with the IAH president and the secretary general, marking the start of intensive and fruitful cooperation between the association and the centre.
